Security Engineer, Co-founder
Founded in 2021, Distrust is an R&D and security consulting firm. We specialize in low-level systems, confidential compute, and designing infrastructure that reduces attack surface and renders entire classes of exploits impossible.
Distrust is made up of engineers behind some of the most security-critical projects in the world, including BitGo, Ledn, Turnkey, and Unit 410.
We have helped hundreds of companies across hedge funds, custodians, Layer 1 and Layer 2 blockchain teams, cloud platforms, and critical grid operators conduct security reviews, build security infrastructure, and launch products built for the modern threat landscape. The systems we have helped secure are responsible for more than $400B in assets.
Across hundreds of engagements, the same failure modes keep appearing: weak trust boundaries, fragile deployments, risky key handling, insecure build systems, and architectures with too much attack surface. Distrust works upstream of the review, designing systems that can be independently verified and built without entire classes of exploits.
A small team with deep roots in low-level systems, cryptography, infrastructure, open source, and security operations.
Our values shape how we work, what we build, and guide every decision we make.
